Tyrese Gibson Selling Woodland Hills Homes — Includes Huge Transformers
Some luxury homes have a movie theater. Others have a swimming pool. The location of Tyrese Gibson was accompanied by a giant yellow robot.
“Transformers” and “Fast & Furious” franchise singers and actors have sold their Woodland Hills home for $ 2.4 million. The selling price included a replica of Bumblebee, a transformer robot from the blockbuster movie series.
It’s not the only weird amenity in the house. During his 10-year stay, Gibson added an outdoor cinema and event space with a recording studio, meeting room, beauty salon, rooftop spa, and hibachi grill.
Protected by gates and covered with palm trees, this complex covers 0.5 acres and makes the most of its space with a 5,414-square-foot main home and 3,000-square-foot additional structures.
The house starts dramatically with a magnificent foyer. There, the stairwell and crystal chandeliers are covered with a 25-foot ceiling. The tan walls mix with the wood and tile floors of the living space.
Elsewhere, there are 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, including a primary suite with a private balcony. Overlooking the amenity-filled backyard with a street sign labeled “Voltron Enterprises Pkwy,” the name of Gibson’s limited liability company, and a neon-lit sign with the company logo above the pool.
Jason Oppenheim of the Oppenheim Group, who starred in Netflix’s “Selling Sunset” and the spin-off series “Selling the OC,” handled both ends of the deal.
Originally from Watt, Gibson signed with RCA Records in the late 1990s and has released six studio albums, including “Black Rose” in 2015, in the decades since then. As an actor, he is known for his role as Robert Epps in the “Transformers” franchise and Roman Pearce in the “Fast & Furious” franchise.
