Tiger 3 Advance Booing Report: Salman Khan starrer sells 1,53,000 tickets in 2 major multiplex chains for Day 1 :Bollywood Box Office

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger 3 has been in the news ever since it was announced. As per the title, it’s the third film in the Tiger franchise after Ek Tha Tiger (2012) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), which were blockbusters. Hence, there is tremendous mass value attached to the brand Tiger. Plus, the film’s promotional material, especially the two trailers, have been well received by the audience.

This can also be seen from the advance booking sales of Tiger 3 so far. The sales of the film’s tickets started on Sunday November 5. As per latest updates, Tiger 3 has sold 1,25,000 tickets in PVR Inox outlets and 28,000 tickets in Cinepolis cinemas for the first day on November 12. The total comes down to 1,53,000 tickets in these two major multiplex chains. As the day progresses, the number is expected to go higher. Apart from these two outlets, the movie has sold 3,200 tickets in MovieMax chains.

One must note that these are the tickets sales only in the three aforementioned multiplex chains and it doesn’t include the sales of tickets in other multiplexes and single screen theatres of India.

An additional bonus for Tiger 3 is that Emraan Hashmi has been cast in the role of a ruthless villain. The film will also have cameos by Shah Rukh Khan as Pathaan from Pathaan and Hrithik Roshan as Kabir from War. All three characters are a part of the same spy universe created by Yash Raj Films.

Directed by Maneesh Sharma, Tiger 3 is a rare movie to release on Sunday, which is on November 12.
