In a recent interview, Seth revealed that his middle name actually doesn’t have any connection with the New England Town, but has a far funnier origin. He said that a lot of men in his family have the middle name Woodbury, and about ten years ago, they decided to ask their grandmother about it. Their grandmother then revealed that Woodbury was actually the town drunk whom she thought was the funniest guy she ever met.

He Barely Survived Through 9/11

Seth MacFarlane narrowly escaped death during 9/11, seems almost unreal, right? He was supposed to be in one of the two flights that were hijacked and collided with the twin towers on September 11, 2009. Since he was hung over, he was given the wrong departure time. Later, he arrived at the airport 10 minutes late and missed his flight. After missing the plane he went to the passenger lounge to rest, upon waking up he witness the horrifying news about the massacre of 9/11. When both planes crashed into the World Trade Center, the airline announced which planes were involved in this horrid event. MacFarlane then realized that he was supposed to be in the second plane.
