EXTRACTION 2 tells the story of a mercenary who heads to Georgia on a dangerous mission. After the events of the previous film, Tyler Lake (Chris Hemsworth) miraculously survives. Tyler’s ex-wife Mia’s (Olga Kurylenko) sister, Ketevan (Tinatin Dalakishvili), is married to violent Georgian gangster David Radiani (Tornike Budjiava). David is imprisoned in Tokachiri Prison, forcing Mia and her children, her son Sandro (Andro Japaridze) and her daughter Nina (Mariami Kobgiashvili/Marta Kobgiashvili), to stay in prison. Tyler is told to get Ketevan and his children out. Tyler accepts the mission and takes Nick and Yaz on board. He breaks into Tokachiri Prison and is attacked by David while trying to escape with Keteban and his children. David is killed in the mayhem. This infuriates his brother Zurab (Tornike Goglichiani), a notorious gangster and drug lord, and he goes all out to get revenge. What happens next forms the rest of the movie.
