Avatar: The Way of Water is set to release on December 16th, 2022. AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER tells the story of a man who goes to great lengths to keep his family safe. More than ten years have passed since the events of his first film.Jake Sully…(Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Saldanha) live happily with their fellow Na’vi. They are the parents of eldest son Neteyam (Jamie Flatters), younger son Roak (Britten Dalton), and daughter Tuk Tiray aka Tuk (Trinity Jolly Bliss). They adopted Kiri (Sigourney Weaver), who was created from the avatar of the late Dr. Grace Augustine (Sigourney Weaver). These four of her children are good friends with Miles Socorro, aka Spider (Jake Champion). Miles he is the child of Colonel Quaritch (Stephen Lang) and the antagonist of the first part dies at the end. Spiders are humans, but they spend their time with the Navis and pretend to be like them. All is well until one day, humans, aka “Sky People”, land on Pandora again. A year later, they build a huge settlement, bigger than the last one. And now Miles rises from the dead. He is revived by the RDA (Resources Development Authority) as a Recombinant, an avatar with embedded human memories. The purpose of Miles’ avatar is revenge from Jake Sully and Neytiri. Na’vi communities have damaged RDA structures and railroad tracks. RDA forces also counterattacked. Jake feels that he is the one they want to overthrow, and for this reason the rest of the Na’vi population should not suffer. They travel hundreds of miles and arrive at a Metkaina village led by Tonowari (Cliff Curtis) and Ronal (Kate Winslet). This tribe is a “reef people” who worship the sea. Their bodies are better suited for underwater activities. So when Jake and his family ask them to take refuge, they initially refuse it because they feel their bodies aren’t suitable for their lifestyle. and slowly learn the Metkaina way of life. Meanwhile, Miles kidnaps Spider and does his best to find out where Jake, Neytiri, and their children have escaped. What happens next forms the rest of the film.
