Wordle is getting a dedicated editor for curating word lists

Beyond that, it doesn’t sound like much has changed. Plural forms of three- or four-letter words ending in “es” or “s” are excluded from the Times’ curated list of answers, and the very large dictionary of English words used to verify guesses is not curated at all. It will not be.

“What solvers use as guess words is their personal choice,” says the New York Times. “If your answer is different from other people’s, please play it in the app or refresh your browser.”
