Shazam! FURY OF THE GODS tells the story of a group of superheroes who are challenged by powerful gods. Two years have passed since the events of the first film. Billy Batson (Asher Angel) lives on as Shazam (Zachary Levi), Freddy (Jack Dylan Grazer), Eugene Choi (Ian Chen),…Darla (Faith Herman), Mary (Grace Fulton), and Pedro (Jovan Armando) also adapt to survive alongside their superhero alter-egos. They attempt to do their “superhero duty” but are criticized by the media in the process. Freddie meets Anne (Rachel Zegler) at school and they fall in love. She also has feelings for him. However, Freddie is angry that Billy is interfering in his life and not giving him space when he is trying to woo her. At one point, Freddie was shocked to discover that she was Anthea, the daughter of Atlas. Anthea and her two sisters, Hespera (Helen Mirren) and Calypso (Lucy Liu), kidnap Freddy and strip her of her psychic powers. Shazam and the other superheroes try to reach out, but are unable to do so. The superheroes are told to hand over their powers to the sisters if they fail to eliminate Freddy. , handed power over to Billy. What happens next forms the rest of the film.
