Led by Akshay Kumar and Emran Hashmi selfie had a disastrous start at the Indian box office. According to initial estimates, selfie gathered in the range of 2 million to 2.5 million rupeeswhich is far less than the conservative predictions made by the industry prior to the film’s release.

Directed by Raj Mehta, it was a boring show from the start as nothing was happening in the film’s favour. Progress started late, but there was no reaction from the audience. Hope from there is booked on the spot, but even that didn’t do the film any favors. This never bodes well for a movie on its opening day.
