National Cinema Day: Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan leads even in its 6th week, Fukrey 3 follows :Bollywood Box Office

The National Cinema Day, which is held today in the whole country, is living up to the expectations. For the unversed, all movie tickets in all theatres for all films on shows of any time are priced only Rs. 99. Out of all the movies that are playing in theatres in India right now, Jawaan is leading in terms of ticket sales on National Cinema Day.

As per latest update till 3:30 pm today, Jawan has collected Rs. 2.71 crores. Breaking up this amount, the Shah Rukh Khan starrer has earned Rs. 2.15 crores in PVR Inox and Rs. 56 lakhs in Cinepolis. It has been more than a month since the film has released but it continues to attract audiences.

Jawan is followed by Fukrey 3, which has earned Rs. 2.61 crores so far. Out of these, Rs 2 crores have come in from PVR Inox and Rs. 61 lakhs in Cinepolis. Mission Raniganj, which is the latest release, is on the third spot. The Akshay Kumar starrer has so far collected Rs. 2.38 crores. Out of these, Rs. 1.95 crores have come in from PVR Inox and Rs. 43 lakhs from Cinepolis.

As there is not much gap between the amount earned between Jawan and Fukrey 3, it will be interesting to see where these two films end up by the end of the National Cinema Day.
