One night I had a dream. When I was walking on the beach with my husband. Across the dark sky, scenes from my life flashed. In each scene I noticed two sets of her footprints in the sand. One is mine and the other is my master’s.
After the final scene of my life flashed before my eyes, I looked back at the footprints in the sand. Many times in my life’s walk, especially at my lowest and saddest times, I have found that there is only one set of footprints for him.
This really bothered me, so I asked the Lord about it. “Lord, I told you that if I decided to follow You, You would walk with me all the way. I can’t understand why you left me when I needed you the most.”
he whispered. When you saw a single set of footprints, I carried you on my back.
