First details of Rey Skywalker’s ‘Star Wars’ movie revealed

and Star Wars Congratulations, we’ve received the announcement we’ve been looking for: 3 new Star Wars Movies on the horizon. There is a movie about the origins of the Jedi by James Mangold. Star Wars The Disney+ TV Universe by Dave Filoni, and its direct sequel Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker from Sharmin Obeid Chinoy,starring Daisy Ridley as Rey Skywalker.

The official announcement didn’t contain any further information about the film, but Lucasfilm’s Kathleen Kennedy provided some additional details. varietyincluding explicit information about when the film will take place – 15 years after the events of Rise of Skywalker. (Before you do the math in your head, it’s been less than four years since the movie hit theaters.)

As Kennedy said:

Fifteen years after The Rise of Skywalker, the Jedi are in turmoil after the war and the First Order. There are many debates about “Who are the Jedi?” what are they doing? What is the state of the galaxy? She’s trying to rebuild the Jedi Order based on the book, based on what she promised Luke.

She didn’t confirm other members of the cast of the sequel trilogy appearing in the new film, but hinted that we’ll get to see Luke Skywalker appear in one form or another. either spend a lot of time on [on] Force ghosts and stuff like that,” she said.
