In today’s world, there’s never a shortage of ways to get games on your PC. Over the years, many well-known companies such as Ubisoft, Valve, and Blizzard have launched their own launchers to offer their games and services.

Epic Games has taken a step that could either shake their competitors or try to keep pace with them. On May 18th, Epic Games announced a new rewards program that allows the account holder to earn his 5% rewards every time he makes a qualifying purchase through the store.

Let’s see what the program looks like.

Who is eligible and how do I earn points?

Anyone with an Epic account is “enrolled in the Epic Rewards program upon purchase.” In other words, just go to the store, pick up the item, and buy. The caveat is that your account must be authorized to make purchases to start earning rewards.

Purchases aren’t just limited to games. It also works with apps, add-ons, and cryptocurrencies (including V-Bucks).

In addition, there are provisions that allow you to earn rewards with your “eligible subscription”.The only additional step is to use the latest version of Epic Games Store Eng User License Agreement. To do this,[アカウント設定]>[サブスクリプション]Go to.

How soon will the benefits be available and will they expire?

According to Epic, 5% back is your Reward balance Within 2 weeks (14 days) of purchase.

Please note that points are valid for 25 months from the date of grant. So, even if it’s expired, you’ll at least have enough time to sit.

What can I use it for?

Your Rewards can be used to receive discounts on future Qualifying Purchases. You can also save even more by combining your points with other discounts and coupons. In addition

Is it enough to help them stay above average?

That is no doubt a difficult question to answer in the long run. The short answer is “probably”. Competition is only getting fiercer as companies vie for consumer attention (and money). While this is certainly a step in a positive direction, I don’t think it will have a significant impact that will take years to come.

It’s not uncommon for companies to try to outshine their competitors, or even go beyond their efforts. This is not the original idea, but it can certainly be effective temporarily.

of Nintendo The e-store has coins, Ubisoft has Wallet Rewards, and now Epic Games has epic rewards. Who will be next at bat? Perhaps Valve will create a system that allows the player to get more value as he earns and spends his Steam Points.

As always, we would love to hear from you. What are your thoughts on Epic’s announcement? Will this change your attitude towards using Epic’s services over others? Or is the market too saturated for little attention and praise? Do you think so? Let us know!

Until next time, have a nice game.
