AN ACTION HERO tells the story of a movie star who fell into soup. Maanav (Ayushmann Khurrana) is a popular Bollywood movie star known for his action movies. For his next film, he goes to the village of Mandhoti, Haryana. Vicky Solanki (Summit Singh), a local politician,…Hope to meet Maanav in ets and click a photo with him to help him in the next elections. But Marnakh makes him wait. Later, Manav is all set to meet him when his manager, Roshan (Hirsh Chaya), informs him that the Mustang car he has been waiting to buy for so long has finally arrived. Maanav is so excited that he forgets about Vicky and goes for his new car. An angry Vicky chases him in an SUV. On a desolate street, Vicky confronts Maanav and attacks the latter. Vicky’s head hits a stone, causing Mernakh to push him away. Vicky dies instantly. Myrnakh escapes, unaware that Vicky’s smashed side mirror has been left on the street. It didn’t take long for officers and local reporters to realize that the side mirrors belonged to Maanav’s car. Meanwhile, Manav quickly checks out of the hotel and reaches Mumbai. At Mumbai airport, he learned that his flight to London was about to depart. He buys a ticket and flies to England. Meanwhile, in Mandoti, Vicky’s older brother Bora Solanki (Jaideep Ahrawat), a fearsome politician and rogue, is raging. He wants to kill Maanav because he believes he murdered his brother. He is also flying to England. What happens next forms the rest of the movie.
